Where was ignoramus? Ignoramus would like to rewrite (his own blog) on right to live/die and nationalism. Last football world cup Calcutta/Kolkata became a confused city in South America. The flags of Brazil and Argentina were flying all over, as if those are two foot ball clubs.

Today it is impossible to imagine a borderless earth. But it was like that in our prehistoric era. Species migrated from one continent to another and seas. Modern men also migrated along continents and regions. Transfer of technologies such as building fire, tool making, trade, animal farming, agriculture etc were borderless. All those technologies helped men, in turn, domiciliation, from roving families. In the process perhaps collective and individual ownership of land and sea arose, we started to mark places as our own. Gradually after a long long time these became mother/father lands.
Many people explained nation but image is not always same. German nation, state, pride, in psyche, is almost solid as rock. Where as idea of nationalism of South Asia mainly Indian subcontinent is ever changing, can be safely said as fluid.
A flag represent a country/nation. Football clubs has there flags too. Ignoramus does not understand whose interest would it serve to allow a country/nation become a football club.
